The Scottish Parliament at Holyrood

Since 1707, there had been no Scottish Parliament, up until the Scotland Act 1998 was passed, and now the Scottish Parliament resides in the Holyrood building, nestled at the bottom of the Royal Mile, in the heart of old Edinburgh.

Take a free guided tour round the Holyrood building, exploring the Main Hall, Garden Lobby and Debating Chamber, whilst learning about the Parliament, it's history, how it works and what it does, or, whilst the Parliament is in session, book tickets for the Public Gallery, allowing you to see a real day in the life of a Member of Scottish Parliament.

For tickets, details on how to book, or more information, please visit Holyrood's website.
